Motor launch free of charge from 1st Sept to 13th July

The area is criss-crossed by numerous footpaths and cycling trails. City of Norwich, 9 miles, for excellent shopping, fine restaurants, cafes, pubs, cathedral and castle museum. Coastline, 11 miles, for Norfolk's finest sandy beaches and dunes. Sprowston Hall, 7 miles, for golf course. Felbrigg and Blickling Halls (NT) and gardens within easy reach for day trips. Great Yarmouth, 20 miles, traditional seaside resort with funfair, model village, leisure centre, host to many sporting activities and indoor swimming pool. Further afield is the North Norfolk coastline with picturesque villages, sandy beaches, salt marsh nature and bird reserves, daily fishing and boat trips to visit the basking seal colony.

Heated indoor swimming pool

Situated on a working farm these spacious barn conversions and Hellington Hall are surrounded by lovely countryside and ideally placed to explore the delights of southern Norfolk and Suffolk broads.

Converted to a very good standard and have the use of the owner's indoor heated swimming pool (with spa end and tidal flow).

There is a secure play area with equipment for children, and they are welcome to visit the animals and Shetland ponies in the adjoining field. Boat hire available locally at Loddon, 3 miles.

The Ted Ellis nature reserve, Redwing's Horse Sanctuary and Hales Hall Gardens locally. Strumpshaw Hall Steam Museum is worth a visit, or take a day trip on the Reedham Ferry and enjoy a meal at the waterfront restaurant.

There is a play barn especially for children under 7 years within 4 miles - great fun on wet days. The cathedral city of Norwich is 5 miles. Cleaning service and home cooked meals available. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Great Yarmouth is easily accessible by car or train as are the surrounding seaside towns and villages of Gorleston-on-Sea, Hemsby, Caister on Sea, Winterton, California, Newport and Hopton-on-Sea, all offering entertainment for a family holiday. The pretty Broadland villages and countryside. RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen, 3 miles. Norfolks finest sandy beaches, 12 miles.

The fine city of Norwich, 8 miles, with its excellent shopping, theatre, restaurants, inns, cafes, castle and museum. For fun-filled family days out there is Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens with a renowned collection of Asian mammals including birds, you will also find reptiles in the pleasantly landscaped gardens.

Close by village of Strumpsham has a steam museum and Reedham offers Pettitts Animal Adventure Park. Whatever type of holiday you are after, it can be as active or as laid back as you want it to be, you are sure to be pleased with a holiday at Riverside Lodges.
