This terraced
holiday cottage in the small village of
Cil-y-Cwm offers the holidaymaker a quiet
touring base.
There are
splendid views towards Llyn Brianne, also
walking over the Cambrian Mountains or you
can visit the historic Wells of Lantwrtyd or
Llangammarch. Three miles away is Llandovery
which is situated on the edge of the Brecon
Beacons National Park.
Whilst 6
miles away is Myddfai with its wonderful
view of the Black Mountains, this is a
lovely area for picnics. About 11 miles away
is the market town of Llandeilo and 24 miles
away is Brecon. Shop 3 miles, pub 200 yards,

Wonderful
walks
This charming
17th century detached farmhouse on a working
family farm has a white washed stonework
exterior and a wealth of character inside
with flagstone floors, inglenook fireplace,
an old wooden staircase and exposed beams
throughout.
There are
wonderful walks and castles to explore -
this is red kite country.
The holiday
cottage is warm and cosy and features a
traditional Welsh semi-open twin bedded room
at the top of the landing. Guests may
explore the River Dulas which runs through
the farm. Local interests include the River
Towy, the National Botanic Garden of Wales,
Aberglasney Gardens and the Brecon Beacons.
Llandeilo,
with its twisty turny streets and unique
shops, is just a 10-minute drive away.
