to Wensleydale. West Burton is in the
Yorkshire Dales National Park and has a

century silk weavers cottage is tucked away
in the hamlet of Bell Busk which derives its
name in part from the old bell hanging from
the gable end of the row of cottages. It is
surrounded by wonderful scenery and a
railway runs close by with the occasional
steam train. There are many walks in the
area with pursuits such as clay pigeon
shooting, 4x4 driving and falconry available
at nearby Coniston Hall estate. An ideal
holiday base. Shops 4 miles, hotel with bar
and restaurant 11/2 miles.

Overlooking
the River Aire and Pennine Way Sauna
This
riverside mill development now consists of
very good quality private apartments, one of
which is featured here. It is located on the
first and second floor of the mill and has
been refurbished to a very good standard,
still retaining the old mill beams, with the
added attraction of a sauna, which is
perfect for relaxing after a days walking.
Riverside Walk is also spacious and commands
lovely views. The pretty village of Airton
lies in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales
National Park and is 2 miles from the
popular limestone village of Malham, where
you can walk to its famous cove, or to the
waterfalls at Gordale Scar. Gargrave and
Settle are close by. The busy market town of
Skipton, 8 miles, has excellent shops,
restaurants, regular open-air markets,
Norman castle and leisure centre.

is Embsay where you can ride the steam train to
picturesque Bolton Abbey and spend a day by the

renowned for its race horse training, and

drive. Tennant’s of Leyburn is the largest
auction house outside London, and is well
worth a visit, alternatively the ’Forbidden
Corner’ is a must for all ages, and is just
