In the wonderful West Country of Dorset, you'll find much to see and do whatever your interests. Explore the walking trails and archaeological history of rugged moorland, walk the cliff-top paths, affording stunning views across miles of beautiful scenery, and try out the local scrumpy.

To the East The New Forest National Park located in the South of Hampshire close to the South Coast is one of the few places left in England where you can get away from it all! This National Park is now recognised as one of the most unique and important wilderness areas in Western Europe.

On the coast in Southampton you will find plenty of maritime history in one of Britain's oldest ports and the host of Europe's biggest on-water boat show.

On the left: Lawn Cottage - sleeping 7 people - Property Ref: PAAF

Located in the heart of the New Forest. The delightful, secluded grounds totalling 1/3 acre completes this lovely property, which is planted with beautiful trees and shrubs throughout. The surrounding area is a haven for wonderful cycling, walking and horse riding. Nearby, Ringwood is a bustling market town, with a number of handsome Georgian buildings lining its high street; the oldest part of the town lies by the peacefully flowing Hampshire Avon.

From Bolderwood, three waymarked paths offer walkers some of the New Forest's most beautiful scenery, with one walk taking in around 40 different species of trees.

For nature lovers, Deer Meadow provides much useful information on the various types of deer that can be found, including red, roe, sika, fallow and muntjac, and the timid creatures can be observed from a platform there.
