A small sample from the finest selection of English
Holiday Cottages in Cornwall.
Charlestown
Harbour - home port to tall sailing ships |
With the mildest and sunniest climate of
anywhere in Britain, stunning scenery and a
long list of attractions, Cornwall has long
been a favourite holiday destination.
The climate is also extremely favourable for
gardeners and throughout the county you can
visit many fine examples of traditional and
formal gardens: The Lost Gardens of Heligan,
Trebah Trust, Pencarrow House and Gardens,
and Tregenna Castle Estate to name just a
few. The jewel in Cornwall's botanical crown
must surely be the Eden Project in St
Austell, a dramatic global garden house in a
series of tropical 'biomes'.
The vistas and spirit of this beautiful
county have inspired countless artists
across the centuries. In St Ives you can
explore an abundance of galleries and
artist's studios, as well as countless
smaller workshops around the harbour. Here
you will also find the
internationally-renowned Tate St Ives and
the Barbara Hepworth Museum.
The rich history of Cornwall pervades every
aspect of life there, bringing a vibrancy
and beauty that you have to experience to
really understand. Make you home in one of
ours for a while, and see for yourself -
