If you plan to visit historic grand houses and other properties managed by the National Trust we recommend that you pay
the 60 pounds or so to become a member giving you access on concession or even free of charge.

from home before you leave home.
You will soon have paid more than the joining fee after you have visited one or two national trust properties if you are not a member.
