kilometres includes the Cheshire Plain. Cheshire has a highly
productive agriculture dominated by dairy farming. The population
centres in industrial towns such as Stockport and Crewe, the latter
serving as one of the most important rail junctions in the country.
Knutsford, with its black and white houses and winding streets, is
