The county of Lancashire is in
the North West of England. Lancashire is bounded by

Previously cotton and coal industries contributed to
the local economy. now much of Lancashire's income
comes from tourism and farming.
Blackpool on the Fylde Coast is Britain's biggest
tourist attraction centre outside London with well
over 8 million visitors a year and the historical
county town of Lancaster dates back to Roman times.
The town of Preston is widely considered as the
capital of Lancashire today due to its central
location and industrial history. Seaside resorts
include Lytham St Annes, Fleetwood and Morecambe,
great for all the family. Within minutes of any
point in Lancashire you can discover peaceful
countryside, rolling hills and picturesque villages.
